Abby's life has not been the easiest. Growing up in the Amish community she is expected to see everything that happens in her life as God's will. As the awkward teen years approached life for Abby got even harder when her father died. He told her that what ever she did to make sure to take care of her mother. Abby made sure she did exactly that. When she her mother moved a state away to marry her new Amish husband. The husband came with baggage, his son was kidnapped and his wife was killed all in the same year. Abby stays behind in her home ton when They get married and takes over running her mother's quilt shop. Everything started to look up for Abby she was engaged to Lester,the love of her life, her mom was pregnant with twins, and her shop was take off as well. To help her mom prepare for the twins and help after they are born Abby visits her mom for awhile. When she is gone, Lester and her grow a part but the worst is yet to come, things at home start to be set a blaze. And Montana might just be the only way to fix everything for her. At the same time across the country Linda and Jim,who are not Amish, are raising "their" son Jimmy as their own, Linda believes they adopted him but their is a lot she does not yet know. And tension between her and Jim grow when she let's God into her life again.

This book is as dramatic as a noon time soap opera. Abby learns so much during this novel that we can take into our own life. She learns how to balance time between herself, helping others, and being with God. She finds love and losses it and just might find it again. This book is for anyone who is looking for a good family and christian oriented novel has a dramatic side.
